- Our gold-plated jewels should be stored in a dry place, away from moisture, humidity and extreme temperatures.
- Ideally store the jewels in the box or pouch provided by us to avoid damage through moisture, humidity and impact, which could lead to dullening of the polish, scratching, chipping and entanglement.
- For extra protection against the dullening of polish or gold-plating, place your jewelry in a zip lock bag before storing in a box or pouch provided by us.
- Make sure to wear your jewelry after applying makeup and perfume as cosmetics can damage the jewelry and wear the polish/plating.
- Please remember that gold-plated jewelry will eventually wear down if worn regularly or for significant periods of time. In such an event it will have to be re-polished or re-plated to restore the shine.
- Make sure your jewelry is not in regular contact with hard surfaces as it can cause scratches, wear off polish/enamel and cause cracks on the stones.
- All jewelry is delicate and requires extra care in order to protect it from damage.
- Do not attempt to clean your jewelry with toothpaste, detergent or any other liquids as you may damage it. We offer one year of free polish/repair for all our gold-plated jewelry.
- Lastly, please remember all our jewelry is handmade by our local artisans at our workshop. Each piece is therefore unique and delicate.
